Anthony Joshua Aims For Fury

According to Eddie Hearn, Anthony Joshua will begin training camp in January and fight in May or June. After losing to IBF champion Daniel Dubois via fifth-round knockout on September 21st, the former two-time heavyweight champion (28-4, 25 KOs) will have had four months to rest by then. Looks at Joshua's May/June Bout According to Hearn, Joshua, 35, plans to fight twice in 2025, ideally against Tyson Fury twice. A rematch with Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) if not him. If AJ doesn't retire, Fury will be the first person on the agenda, but he still wants to exact revenge for his loss. It makes sense that Hearn is working hard to move quickly to get Joshua vs. Fury to take place because both boxers are getting too old to be relied upon to win the tier competition. Hearn would have to wait until the younger or even older heavyweights continued to beat both men. Although both of them are still capable of taking down a lot of the top 15 fighters, there are plenty other heavyweights in the division who would have a great chance of doing so. According to Hearn, the two biggest bouts in British boxing are Joshua-Fury and Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn. He might be correct. Even if the rest of the world doesn't care, fans are eager to see both of those competitions. "In the months of May or June. He isn't yet fully trained. When asked about Anthony Joshua's next fight date, Eddie Hearn told iFL TV, "He's probably ready to resume training in January." "You have to see what Fury wants to do right now, and you have the Dubois fight [against Joseph Parker] on February 22nd. We are not in an awful hurry. In 2025, AJ will engage in two bouts. In the summer and the winter, respectively. You must decide whether to fight someone or wait for such bouts if we are unable to force the Dubois to fight and Fury is unwilling to fight. "I am unable to speak for AJ regarding who he is willing to fight, but I am aware that Tyson Fury or Daniel Dubois are the main contenders. He's [Joshua] done everything, of course. He has boxed almost everyone in his generation if Fury is listed on his CV. 2025: AJ vs. Fury? Fury has yet to declare if he will take on Joshua. After losing to undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk via unanimous decision after 12 rounds in their rematch on December 21st in Riyadh, he was quite angry. At the post-fight press conference, he appeared resentful of his second loss to Usyk and claimed to have won the contest by three rounds. Even if Fury is furious, he will return to the ring because of the money he can earn from a battle with Joshua. When Turki Al-Shiekh waves $100 million under his nose for the AJ match, he won't be moping for long. "It's [Fury] a difficult battle, with a 50/50 chance, but let's run it twice and see where we end up. By far the two most significant bouts in British boxing were Fury vs. AJ and Eubank vs. Benn. "It's nothing at all," Hearn remarked.
