Donn Davis, chairman and founder of the Professional Fighting League, made a significant announcement on Monday: elbows will be permissible in all fights starting in 2025. For both the regular season and the playoffs, the PFL has had an elbow ban in place since the league's 2018 launch. The only time elbows were allowed was in fights that weren't part of the season or the playoffs. On the other hand, the company announced in November that elbows would be allowed in all title fights. However, elbows are now officially sanctioned in all PFL bouts.
