‘One to five rounds’: Adam Azim expects early knockout
Adam Azim anticipates a quick night of training in London as he prepares for his bout against Sergey Lipinets on February 1 and believes his opponent will be stopped early.
Azim's confidence has only increased when he defeated Ohara Davies in the eighth round of his most recent appearance.
When asked what his pre-fight prediction was, Azim responded, "One to five rounds, knockout." "He's a fantastic fighter, but with all due respect, I'm going to end his career today."
"This will be the year that he establishes himself on the world stage and proves himself to be an elite level fighter," Azim would go on to say, adding that Lipinets had never faced an opponent like him before.
Over his last five fights, Lipinets has had a mixed record. He has drawn with Custio Clayton, lost by knockout to Jaron Ennis, defeated Omar Figueroa Jr. via TKO, lost by decision to Michel Rivera, and most recently defeated Robbie Davies Jr. via decision.
