Dennis Buzukja's suspension for the UFC 310 fan argument has been extended by NAC.
After a confrontation with a fan at UFC 310 in December, UFC fighter Dennis Buzukja's provisional ban was extended by the Nevada Athletic Commission. He will not know his fate until at least February.
On Tuesday, the commission decided to authorize the suspension extension until a full disciplinary hearing can be scheduled. This suspension, which was first imposed on January 7th, will stay in effect until the commission determines a potential penalty for Buzukja.
At UFC 310, when cornering Aljamain Sterling for his bout against Movsar Evloev, Buzukja got rough with a fan, drawing criticism for his behavior.
In the aftermath of Sterling's bout, other videos emerged showing UFC bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili becoming visibly angry with the same fan. The supporter allegedly seized Dvalishvili's arm and yelled obscenities at him as he returned to the locker room.
