Tyson Fury insists he is retired and will stay retired
Following his "retirement" following his second defeat to Oleksandr Usyk in December of last year, Tyson Fury has been the focus of rumors that he may "un-retire" and "return" to boxing.
However, Fury has made it clear on social media that he has no plans to box again.
traveled all over the world and back. Now, this is what the "Gypsy King" looks like in retirement. "Not too shabby," Fury remarked as he displayed a Monte Carlo landscape.
"I'm not in any haste to resume boxing. Why would you get me face punched? For what shall I come back? That's what I ask. So here we are. I'm retired, and I intend to remain so.
The 36-year-old Fury (34-2-1, 24 KO) does appear to realize that, in part, no one thinks he is truly retired because he is still young, in part because he has a lot of money to make, in part because he is still boxing, and in part because he has been "retired" on multiple occasions.
The only thing he can do is keep stating that he would never box again, but most people still seem to think that he will eventually, maybe for a big-money bout with Anthony Joshua.
