Liz Carmouche heads to Women’s Flyweight Finals after decision win
Liz Carmouche is a pioneer of women’s MMA, having been a standout name during a time in which women’s MMA was on the rise. Carmouche, who holds notable wins over names like Valentina Shevchenko and Jessica Andrade, was the Bellator Women’s Flyweight World Champion, defending the belt three times, before joining the PFL Women’s Flyweight Season in 2024 – where she went on to lose to Taila Santos in the Playoffs. Carmouche now finds herself one step away from going to the Finals after taking out Ilara Joanne in the First Round.
The hardships that Elora Dana faced early in her life has prepared her for this moment. Dana, who began training with taekwondo and jiu-jitsu, enters tonight’s bout a perfect 8-0, with five submissions, and a regional title to her name. Dana made her PFL debut in April, scoring a win in a First Round matchup against Diana Avsaragova.
Who will go on to face Jena Bishop in the Women’s Flyweight Finals?
