Davis' name was at the top of a new antitrust lawsuit against the UFC that was filed in late May. This new lawsuit is not asking for any money damages. It is also asking for a "sunset provision" that lets fighters "terminate the contract with no penalty within one year after its execution." Davis told MMA Fighting, "The truth is, I don't do this for fun." "My ability to fight against the best people in the world has been limited. I can't do that outside of the UFC. "We had a dual meet with Oklahoma State even though we weren't in the same conference in college sports." They are in a different conference altogether.
