Chavez Jr. explains defeat
Chavez Jr. explains defeat
Jake Paul was given an explanation by Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. for his loss, stating that he required further time to win the knockout.
After losing to the YouTuber via unanimous decision, the former middleweight champion from Mexico offered the justification.
Father Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. had to witness his son's defeat once more. With seven reverses in his professional career, Chavez Jr. currently has one more than his famed father.
The Reason for Chavez Jr.'s Loss: Insufficient Time?
Speaking publicly about the fight, in which he acknowledges that he got off to a poor start, Chavez hinted that his strategy had always been a late knockout.
But in retrospect, Chavez feels he should have fought for twelve rounds rather than the ten he had agreed to.
“I didn’t have enough time!” Chavez Jr. remarked. I missed two more rounds because I was unable to knock out. Facts!
In the meantime, the aftermath of a fight involving Jake Paul was widely criticized in a number of places.
Vergil Ortiz Jr., a professional boxer, expressed his opinions about the fight and Paul's overall boxing achievements.
Common Criticism: "Staged Bulls***" and "Circus Fights"
"Jake Paul is defrauding the entire world by passing off his circus fights as actual fights. The world still eats it all up, then has the audacity to be let down when they realize that the circus bouts they pay to watch aren't really fights.
"Everyone else is supporting him while he destroys the sport on his own. For the umpteenth time, you will continue to cover and observe the circuses in the hopes that this one will actually exist.
When you keep doing the same thing and expect different results, what is it called again? The Golden Boy star continued, "You have to give Jake Paul credit for maintaining the act for this long and for everyone else still believing it.
Piers Morgan, whose "Uncensored" show had an altercation with Paul just days prior to the brawl, also entered the fray.
"Tonight's unwatchable spectacle was not as good as my fight with Jake Paul on Thursday.
Morgan remarked, "The guy is killing boxing with this dull staged bulls*** against older fighters way past their prime, but he's lining his pockets with buckets of cash."
Jake Paul Issues a Serious Warning: "Be prepared to be served."
But before the YouTuber and his business partner issued a warning to people who still accuse Paul of rigging his battles, Ryan Garcia jumped to his support.
"You cannot claim that Jake's bouts are rigged. "It's becoming absurd," Garcia remarked. "He's simply winning."
He's popular, so it's not always against the people you want or are equipped to challenge him. His pro fight total is eleven. Like most professionals, he is on a similar road.
"I have asked my team to vigorously go after anyone who makes up lies about my boxing career after years of letting it slide as just 'haters being haters,'" Paul stated.
"You pigs, expect to be served."
The influencer's remarks come after Paul, a former Disney child actor, accused Matchroom of buying off judges, prompting promoter Eddie Hearn to file a lawsuit against Paul.
Paul and Hearn reached an out-of-court settlement.
MVP Steps Up: Legal Action Against Defamation Threats
Paul's right-hand guy at Most Valuable Promotions, Nakisa Bidarian, sent the skeptics yet another caution.
"This assertion is irrational and careless," he replied in response to Morgan. The California State Athletic Commission served as the official judges for the 10-round cruiserweight battle that took place last night vs Chavez Jr.
"Just hard work and a legitimate victory—no staging or rigging."
Saying otherwise damages the Commission's and MVP Jake Paul's reputations in addition to undermining the sport's integrity.
"Enough is enough. We'll be looking into every possibility, including going to court, to punish people responsible for disseminating such destructive and intentional lies," Bidarian said.
