Floyd Mayweather’s undefeated brother

Although Floyd Mayweather's brother had a successful but little-known boxing career, WBN has discovered a daring assertion made by the younger sibling. At the peak of his career, Justin Mayweather (Jones), who competed professionally from 2013 to 2022, had an interview at the renowned Mayweather Gym. Jones stated in a 2020 interview with The Mayweather Channel that he was unaware of his father's identity until he was 19. But because of his physical resemblance, Jones always suspected he might be linked to one of the greatest boxers of all time. Under the tutelage of Floyd Sr. and his uncle Jeff Mayweather, Jones began a ten-year, albeit brief, career in the sport after he met his father in 2007. Jones feels that he could have competed with his half-brother Floyd in the career stakes because he was "the better athlete" of the two if his father had given him advice on his career much sooner. Jones, who is ten years Floyd's junior, believes he might have continued the family tradition by winning another world championship. "I'm the Better Athlete Than Floyd," is a bold assertion. When asked if he ever wished he had known his father from birth by a host on The Mayweather Channel, Justin said, "It's a double-edged sword because some stuff is very positive." "I don't believe that some of the things improved me as a person. However, some things made me into someone I didn't want to be. "Looking back, I was consistently in the top three in every sport when I was younger. Now that I'm 32, I can fight well (he's 37 and hasn't fought in three years). He went on, "I feel like I was the better athlete overall, but I have nothing against my brother." "I feel like I am better athletically, but that doesn't mean I would have been a better fighter because he is the best fighter I have ever seen." I simply believe that with such coaching and direction, I could have won several world titles by now. "I began fighting when I was 19 years old." I didn't take my failure at the college auditions seriously, which is the only reason I started fighting. I just participated in the Golden Gloves and won the state competition. However, who can claim that I wouldn't have passed away by now? I can't say because I might have been struck by a car while doing something completely unrelated. You try your best, but it's simply the way things are. "It was basically nothing to me because I grew up in a location where none of us had fathers around. I hate to admit it, but in my hometown, it was the standard. Jones competed mostly in Mexico and finished his seven fights with five stoppages, according to BoxRec. But one altercation in the five years since the interview reveals a different tale. With each passing year, the evident familial talent diminishes, and Jones, now 37, has a limited amount of time to validate his notion of a world title. Justin Mayweather has been contacted by World Boxing News to inquire about his future fight plans. Mayweather Jones remained silent.
