‘This is the absolute worst’: Kevin Lee says broken jaw is the most brutal injury of his career.

Kevin Lee has had a lot of surgeries and injuries over the years, but the worst one was when he shattered his jaw in his first fight with Gadzhi Rabadanov in the PFL. The veteran lightweight, who joined the PFL as a late substitute for the 2025 tournament, didn't make it past the first round because Rabadonov hit him so hard that he fell face down on the canvas. After the fight, Lee said that he really did break his jaw because of the harm he took. Lee's mouth was wired shut to help him heal, and he says this is the worst injury of his career. Lee added on Instagram, "Listen, I've had all kinds of injuries before." "I've broken most of my fingers, toes, and bones in my foot." I hurt my ankle. Pain in the shins. Three surgeries on my knees, all of which were for my ACL. I tore my meniscus, my MCL, and my hamstring grade three. My hip. I tore my groin before. Had an ulcer in the past. My shoulders, I could keep going. "Don't break your jaw, which is kind of obvious." Don't get your jaw wired. This is the very worst. There isn't even a close second. It sucks all the time. It really sucks. There's no other way to say it. Lee came out of retirement hoping to go back to the UFC, but he ended up winning a fight in the regional scene and then signed a multi-bout deal with PFL. Sadly, things didn't go his way as Rabadanov knocked him out in the first round of his PFL debut. The 2024 lightweight champion is still terrorizing the 155-pound division. Rabadanov has now won four knockouts in a row, including wins over former Bellator champion Brent Primus and UFC veteran Marc Diakiese. After the loss, Lee said he "can't take shots anymore" and wasn't sure whether he would fight again.
