Conor Benn talks about changes for the Chris Eubank Jr. rematch: "Less heart, more brains."
Conor Benn is getting ready for his official rematch with Chris Eubank Jr. on September 20 in London. He understands he needs to do several things differently this time if he wants to win. Benn told Sky Sports over the weekend that he still wants to fight Eubank Jr., but he wants to be smarter about how he does it.
"I'm going to walk right in there and steam right into him." Like the first one, but not as emotive, let's say. You know, less heart and more brains?
Benn says that experience is a good teacher and that he learnt from his mistakes in the first bout. He will make the changes he needs to make sure he doesn't put himself in dangerous situations again.
We don't know if Benn will be able to make the changes he needs to beat the naturally bigger Eubank Jr., but he will definitely give it his all.
