Shakur Stevenson, the WBC lightweight champion, thinks Jake Paul can win a world title. However, he tells the YouTuber-turned-fighter to stay away from Badou Jack. Stevenson talked about how Paul has improved in the ring on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani. Stevenson remarked, "I think Jake has really gotten a lot better since he started." "And in the right situation, I can see him becoming a world champion too." Paul (12-1, 7 KOs), who wants to fight for the WBA or WBC title at cruiserweight, has openly called out both Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez (WBA and WBO) and Badou Jack (WBC), who is a two-weight world champion. Stevenson, on the other hand, isn't sure that the veteran approach is the best one. "I'm not a huge fan of Zurdo..." Stevenson answered, "Yes, it's a big jump."
