Andrei Arlovski anticipates BKFC title showdown with heavyweight rival Ben Rothwell in early 2026

Andrei Arlovski wants to face Ben Rothwell one more time for the BKFC championship in 2026. They fought in 2008 and 2019. Arlovski, a former UFC heavyweight champion, is at the last stage of his fighting career and is trying to make the most of it. He has contracts with both BKFC and Dirty Boxing Championship, and he might be able to fight for titles in both. Arlovski fought Jairzinho Rozenstruik at DBX 3 on Saturday, but he's also very focused on Rothwell. He recently had a staredown with Rothwell at a BKFC media event in preparation for their belt fight. Arlovski told MMA Junkie, "It makes sense for BKFC. We fought in Affliction, UFC, and now it must be in BKFC." "I just saw Ben, and he's a massive motherf*cker. He weighs about 350 pounds, but he's not fat; he's pure muscle. "He's dangerous." At "Affliction: Banned" in July 2008, Arlovski knocked out Rothwell in the third round. In the rematch at UFC on ESPN 4 in July 2019, Arlovski won by unanimous decision. Since then, both guys have been through a lot, and it looks like they will meet again. Rothwell will want to get back at Arlovski, who will want to win their third fight and conclude his career on a good note. Arlovski remarked, though, that they both had some business to take care of first. Arlovski remarked, "Ben is supposed to win his fight and I am supposed to win mine." "We'll hopefully fight for the title next year, in March or April."
