Paul Craig is officially hanging up the gloves.

Craig fought Modestas Bukauskas in the main event of UFC Paris. The fight ended badly when Bukauskas hit Craig with a brutal ground-and-pound after Craig pulled card late in the first round. The last elbow from "The Baltic Gladiator" hit Craig at the horn, which meant the round was over, and it broke him open and knocked him out. The referee had to halt it because there was no way Craig could have gotten back up and walked to the corner. Craig took off his gloves after the fight and said he was done with mixed martial arts. The fan-favorite fighter ends his time in the octagon after losing five fights in a row, although he has won nine fights total. The 37-year-old has stopped both the current light heavyweight champion, Magomed Ankalaev, and the former champion, Jamahal Hill.
