Shakur Stevenson says he would turn down the same $40 million offer that Gervonta Davis got.

Shakur Stevenson says that if he had just fought Gervonta Davis to a 12-round draw, he would turn down a $40 million deal to fight Jake Paul. He says he would fight that guy again so he could get his "get-back" first. Paulie explains who should be let into the Boxing Hall of Fame. Would he really turn down $50 million? When Justin Laboy asked Shakur Stevenson if he would fight someone for $50 million after fighting a draw against another boxer, Stevenson answered, "I'm going to go and get my get-back." Stevenson would have to be crazy to reject down a $50 million contract to fight someone like Jake Paul. I mean, Shakur didn't even clean up the fight he had with Edwin De Los Santos in 2023. The De Los Santos Issue A lot of fans thought Shakur lost that fight. He should have settled the argument by giving Edwin a rematch, but he didn't. Also, people didn't believe Stevenson's justification for running all night because he was hurt. Again, fans can't believe he wouldn't take the $50 million if he didn't even want to fight De Los Santos again. Instead, he would focus on getting back at a fighter he fought to a draw. "I'm going to get my revenge." Is the $50 million going to a place? So, once I have my revenge, I beat this [fighter]. Stevenson said, "So, it's a $100 million after I get my get-back." Even when the interviewer told Shakur that the $50 million offer would go away if he let the fighter wait while he focused on his "get-back" to clear up a draw, he still maintained he wouldn't take the money. It doesn't make sense that he would give away the $50 million or even half of it to get his "get-back" first, especially because he only wants to fight Gervonta Davis and Teofimo Lopez for money and not Andy Cruz, who would be a lower-paying but riskier bout. Tank Davis is still on his mind. "Next question. I'm a goat. I can defeat anyone. What are we talking about if you say you don't want to fight? Shakur added that if Gervonta Davis called him and said he wanted to fight, they could speak about it. Shakur made it obvious that he still wants to fight Gervonta if he gets the chance. At first, he said he didn't want to talk about Tank, but when Laboy asked him what he would do if he was offered a fight against the Baltimore native, he changed his mind. No matter what, he still wants to fight Davis. Fans think Shakur is anxious to fight Tank, and it makes him appear awful since he hasn't let go. When asked who would win between him and Jake Paul, Shakur responded, "Me." "You can't close your eyes and hit me with a shot that I don't see." Stevenson remarked, "I don't care how big you are," and then he declared he would beat Jake Paul. It's hard to believe that Shakur could win Jake Paul in a 10- to 12-round bout without a weight handicap to make him weaker. Jake swings too hard, and because he has a longer reach, he would ultimately get to Stevenson and strike him with one of his bombs. To avoid getting hit by Paul, he would have to limit his output to nearly nothing because throwing would leave him susceptible to getting hit.
