Clarissa Shields defends title in February
This isn’t just another title defense — it’s a rematch nearly 10 years in the making. Shields and Crews‑Dezurn first met in 2016 when both made their pro debuts; Shields won by unanimous decision.
Now the stakes are much higher: Shields (17‑0, 3 KOs) enters as the undefeated undisputed heavyweight champ, fresh off signing a historic $8 million deal with Salita Promotions and Wynn Records — the richest contract ever in women’s boxing.
Crews‑Dezurn (10‑2, 2 KOs) is moving up in weight for this challenge; she rebuilt her career after the first loss and even held undisputed status at super‑middleweight.
The rematch is set for Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena — the same city that embraced Shields early in her career — and will stream live on DAZN.
This fight feels like much more than boxing: a full-circle moment, a statement on women’s sports, and possibly one of the defining fights of 2026.
